Christmas Nooks and Crannies

Well......oh me oh my
with all the giving away
and all the posting
I have had ZERO time for fun and festive posts
so let's start today
with a tour of my favorite
nooks and crannies of my
Christmas home I heart my tree every year
more when is has no rhyme nor reason
no theme
it has lots of colors
lots of styles
less pressure than trying to keep it all
perfect

my favorite ornament of sorts.....
Chloe sitting upon this reindeer
we just tuck this baby in...perfect !!
You can make one of your child too
take their photo straddling a picnic type bench
cut them out and make yourself a reindeer
attach your child....voila !!!!
If you have been by JaneSays you have seen my mantle
displaying my holiday garlands
I had to include it though for it is one of my favorite nooks.

P-E-A-C-E
recall those flocked deer
from a very successful thrifting day
yea....I decided to keep those babies for myself
so glad I did
they belong here....sure do.
I have the perfect color kitchen for Christmas.....doncha think?

That super funky tree is a folded magazine......cute huh?
Chloe and I whipped that right up.
A row of thrifted crocheted stockings on my mudroom bench.......LOVE..... 40 cent each.
Chloe's tree
She did it all by herself
It may or may not have been in the floor already......once....just maybe
Its topped with the angel that topped my tree when I was little....special !!!
There was jut not a whole lot of room in the studio for festive-ness
Squeezed in a little here and there

The day after Thanksgiving Chloe's elf showed up.....there behind some books.
He is definitely one of the funnest traditions we have.
His name is Ticky.
Sweet baby Jesus....one of 3 count down to Christmas activities in our house
Each morning Chloe adds a strip of paper (hay) to the manger....on Christmas day we will lay the baby Jesus in the hay.
Very simple to make.....small paper bag rolled down
Baby Jesus is made from a wooden clothespin the vintage type or a wooden peg...paint a lil' face on and wrap Him in swaddling clothes.
A great advent....The REASON for the Season.
have a happy day

Wow - you are one busy blogger! I love your pretty house - love all the colors and the blue and white. Your studio is bright and cheery - just like your etsy shop! Love it all.
