I enjoy thrifting
My favorite item to pick up is books for Chloe
You simply can not beat .50 for a book
Most of which are in excellent condition
As much reading as we do around here....its the only way to go
Occasionally I venture into the other aisles.....

Sleepin' In Mexico

I have always eyed these fun indoor/outdoor lights
and then I turn away
They look like too much trouble
ohhh......string them here and there
drop cords....
ugh....no thanks these colorful little lanterns
I simply could not pass up

we wrapped them around Chloe's headboard of her yummy antique metal bed

they are the colors of her quilt....its just breath-taking

"Mommy....I'm sleepin in Mexico"...she exclaimed when she saw them all lit up for the first time

After years of working out of my kitchen....because a certain little cutie-pa-tutie
called the extra room in the the house her playroom
I finally have a space to call my own
I turned the sun room...which was initially the dining room...cause who really needs a dining room into the most fabulous space....and its mostly mine....I did reserve a corner for the cutie-pa-tutie.
What do ya think....should I paint the light....or just buy something new ?

Well my work table was handmade for me at my Grandfather's building supply store...don't ya just love it?

Steal.....those fun popcorn containers were $1.00......at the dollar store of course.

Never Nothing

Never Nothing...I know it's bad grammar....I realize is a double negative
But that is the answer.....never nothing. I fell in love with this electric razor when I was pregnant and could not manage to shave in the shower....its great for quickies....would not trade my Venus for it....but I love it none the less

Heard From The Back Seat

Chloe says the funniest and most profound things....and they usually come out of the blue from the back seat of the car.....perhaps the trees and cars whizzing by ..... get her wheels a turnin'

" Mom...we should put a sign in our craft room that says...Girls Work Boys Watch"

hmmm.........I do believe I could hang that sign in many of the rooms in my house......Ha !

Very seldom does a photo stir what I would call intense emotion.....Erin has that way....her photos speak....take you there.....make you feel it.
I am immensely over-joyed and excited that my baby girl aka The Flower Girl was in her viewfinder this weekend.....I can not wait to see the photos. There is just a small taste of the weekend here on Erin's blog......enjoy.
