cute tags & for kids I love to wrap presents, because I love to see them tear into it!! They have so much fun, for adults well, bags... I think christmas is more for kids:)
ReplyDeleteOh, I'm definitely a gift wrapper. I love some of the odd shapes some gifts end up being, and seeing the giftee look at it with the strangest face. :O)
ReplyDeleteI wrap most of my gifts in kraft paper or newspaper and top it with some twine for my friends and family. They're very cute!
Plus, all the fun is in tearing off the paper from a gift.. otherwise you just pull it out of a bag!
Those birdie tags are so cute! What a great give away!!
ReplyDeleteI do both gift wrap and gift bag. It depends on who the gift is for and whether the gift may be difficult to wrap with paper. However, no matter how I wrap the gift, I always put a cute tag on it! :)
definitely gift wrap, with real ribbon and fun gift tags! LOVE THEM!!!
ReplyDeleteI am a gift bag kind of person - easily upcycled front other presents given to me: add a boy, a new gift tag (hint, hint!) and you have saved a tree (:
ReplyDeleteI hate gift bags, well unless they are personalized.
ReplyDeleteI'm a big fan of wrapping paper.
gift wrap...i love the wrap presents! and, put interesting things on the top of them all...love it. my favorite thing to put on the top? cinnamon sticks...love it.
ReplyDeleteGIFT WRAP gal here!
ReplyDeleteI am both. A wrapper and a bagger. Depending on what the gift is and how big of a hurry I am in. Christmas= like to mix it up a little. Children= I like to do bags. All they care about is the present anyway then they can use the bag as a "shoppy" bag.
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, I'm sorry: I'm sooo confused!! Is it Jane, April, or Kirsty?
ReplyDeleteI poked around JaneSays. Your shop is really cute, colorific, and cheerful. I'm loving the (sorry if this link doesn't work, but I'm gonna try some html) Sweet Bird Hand Towel. It's JUST given me the inspiration for decorating my guest bathroom. Thanks!
Now to answer your question. I'm more of a gift box person. I like the straight lines against the curves of the bows, ribbon, or other package topper. Bags are okay, but I only use them when I'm in a hurry or if I can't find a box to quite fit what I'm gifting. Bags are still a necessity, and there are some super duper cute ones out there.
I do love to gift wrap but in a pinch having gift bags on hand are a must. I love pretty wrapping, ribbons & bows! Cute birdy tags!

ReplyDeleteThose are very cute! I love the simplicity of them! (def. gift wrap, its more personal)
ReplyDeletegift wrap for sure!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteand those cute tags would be PERFECT! :)
xoxoxoxo
Sadly, Gift Bag with lots of Tissue.
ReplyDeleteI worked in a jewelry store..and that is what made the gift so presentable.
of course - gift wrap! this way i can use pretty papers and ribbons, and show them off so much better then bags! plus, who doesnt love to rip open paper?!
ReplyDeleteHi April...If I am giving a gift to an adult, it will normally be a gift bag. If the gift is for a child, I will usually use gift wrap because I know how children like to have something to rip open.
ReplyDeleteThanks,
Karen~
I am mostly a gift wrap person... although sometimes I like to jazz up a plain gift bag. Especially if the gift is for a kid.
ReplyDeleteOne year I made yards and yards of hand printed gift wrap for Christmas. Oy. To have that kind of free time again! LOL

i'm a gift wrapper. i love to tie on bows and other items. bags are just 'meh' in my opinion.
ReplyDeleteIt depends on who it is for. I think that kids like to open wrapped gifts but if it is for an adult a bag all the way.
ReplyDeleteI am totally a gift wrap type of person. I love wrapping gifts and try to make each one special. When I was little, my mum and I would sit down before Christmas and wrap for hours, trying to outdo each other!
ReplyDeleteOh, I'm a gift bag person. I have tons of different ones. Some I won't even use for gifts because I like them so much.
ReplyDeleteI love wrapping, but I always seem to do the last minute bag...except at Christmas. :)
ReplyDeletea wrapper! that's the best part of gift giving!
ReplyDeleteGift bags are easy and quick when I'm in a hurry. For kids though, I tend to wrap because I know how much they love unwrapping.
ReplyDeleteI try to do neither!? I try to use a unique container to put the gift/s in, that way they have a new container to put things in and it is a bit of a fun challenge for me to come up with unique containers. I’ve gotten a lot of compliments for my “green” ways. I’m the person that cringes if I see the wrapping paper go in the garbage! At Christmas time for our kids we put all of the gifts in front of the tree unwrapped. My parents did this when we were kids and so it is one family tradition we have kept from my side of the family. Besides the kids just want the gifts, and it is a surprise because when they wake up, the gifts are there to find. But I still need gift tags and these are very cute! ;) This Christmas for other family and friend’s gifts I’m going to put them in reusable bags!

cute tags. I love gift wrap. I make gift bags, but usually I use gift wrap for Christmas. Other times of the year I am more likely to put it in a bag.
ReplyDeletei like gift bags better.. but for kids i try to wrap.. cause they tend to peek!
ReplyDeleteGift wrap...it's more personal but when I find a great gift bag I stuff it with pretty tissue to hide the gift...can't resist it!
ReplyDeleteI know this is very late, but I just love those tags! And I'm a gift wrapper when I can, sometimes we're invited to a birthday late and I don't have time to properly wrap a gift. I think that the bag is a little too convenient and prompts us to stop thinking in terms of design. Part of the joy of gift receiving is not knowing what's in it, and a bag gives no hints so it doesn't encourage our imaginations.
ReplyDeleteGift wrap, never bag. Gift tag, never card. That's me. Love your tags... they find their way on most things I give.
